With our lengthening days and spring flowers already out, our thoughts might move towards the idea of ‘Spring Clean’. Whilst we clean it is an ideal opportunity to declutter and throw out or sell those possession that haven’t been used for years and only take up valuable storage space. This can involve a venture into the loft space or to the garage, which hasn’t been frequented by a car for years, as it became overtaken with boxes, equipment and sports gear.
At WSMS we are always looking for opportunities for people to help us whilst not asking them to dip into their pockets directly. We are listed on eBay as a Charity – http://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebayforcharity/ You can sell items on ebay in the usual way and agree to give a percentage of the proceeds to a charity like ourselves. That can be 10% or 100%, according to your wishes. There are other ways to sell items online, including Gumtree, Friday Ad or even at Auction for larger or higher value or specialist collectors items. We sometimes sell items on eBay ourselves.
