WSMS has recently taken possession of the Mid Sussex (South) CVS – Fabvorg Award.
This was awarded in recognition of the care and service provided to our volunteers. Nomination for this award came from volunteers. We are very pleased to have received the award as we appreciate our volunteers very much and would not exist without them. It is not an easy task looking after 60 plus volunteers, dispersed across the whole of West Sussex. Our volunteer numbers include trustees, mediators, a book-keeper, a PR volunteer and a photographer.
We will hold the award until the next ceremony but Mid Sussex (South) CVS are in the process of merging with Horsham Voluntary Action.
We have also been nominated for the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service and the outcome of this wiil be made public on 2nd June 2015.
