Following our AGM, which takes place today (7th January 2021), WSMS will have six trustees in post, including a new Chair and Treasurer.
Despite all these changes, our charity is still keen to attract further talent to add value to the board of trustees. Our Service Co-ordinator, Nick Handley said, “It is good to know that there are good people out there who are willing to give up their time to support a worthy cause that does some great work in our local community. Sadly, there will be people who have lost their job, due to the pandemic, who might like to expand their horizons or refresh their CVs by becoming a trustee. We would love to hear from some of them. Trustee training would be made available. Individuals could take a look at us first by sitting in on a trustee meeting or having a discussion with one of the existing trustees or staff members.
