Local Charities day is on Friday 16th December 2016. This is a government led celebration of local charities across the UK.
Rob Wilson, Minister for Civil Society, has hailed this as, “an opportunity to shout from the rooftops about the energy, the commitment, the expertise that small and local charities bring”.
As part of the day, the Office for Civil Society is co-funding the #GiveMe5 match fund campaign. On the day Localgiving will be doubling 1,000 x £5 donations to Localgiving members, such as WSMS.
All Localgiving members are automatically included. Every £5 donated through Localgiving on 16th December has a chance of being doubled! We would welcome your support on the day.
