Family Mediation

The current coronavirus pandemic is having a huge impact on all our lives. With the current lockdown still in operation, relationships, of all types, are under huge pressure. Being cooped up 24/7 is not something that most of us are used to. There are many ways in which a service like ours can continue to provide help and support. We can offer video conferencing, either as a stop gap, or to bring about meaningful communication and resolution to any issues, such as child arrangements. We have received a number of calls recently from separated parents being denied access to their children, with the coronavirus being a possible ‘excuse’ for suspending visitation rights, despite Government advice to the contrary.
If you have access to a smart phone or a laptop or PC with either an integral or separate webcam, then we should be able to offer that service to you. We have an ‘Agreement to Mediate through Video Conferencing’ that clients have to sign. The service remains confidential.
We currently have mediators in a variety of mediation disciplines who are becoming accustomed to conducting meetings through video link. That includes community, intergenerational, elder, civil/commercial, family and workplace plus conflict coaching.
